Common Passenger Vehicle Rescue (CPVR)
The Cincinnati Fire Protection District Training Academy is proud to announce our upcoming Common Passenger Vehicle Rescue Course (Formerly known as VMO).
This State Certification Course is delivered in a hybrid format and consists of 40 hours of education designed to prepare firefighters to safely and effectively operate at passenger vehicle rescue incidents.
Course Details:
Mandatory Orientation (in-person) 04/09/2026 at 1900-2100.
Weekly Online Course Work.
In-Person Practical Weekend:
• 05/02/2026 | 0800-1800
• 05/03/2026 | 0800-1800
(Two 10-hour days of hands-on practical evaluations.)
Cost: $500
This course is limited to 18 students to ensure high-quality instruction and hands-on learning.
