About Us
Ready for every emergency!
Established in 1970, the Cincinnati Fire Protection District covers roughly 29 square miles of service area while also assisting other communities when called upon for help.
Firefighters are essential to the safety and security or our communities. The Cincinnati Fire Protection District provides its members the latest in training and equipment making sure they can do their jobs more effectively and safely. With the addition of a newly built two-story live fire training facility on site, our firefighters are constantly preparing for the next call.
Besides fires and service calls, EMS calls make up a large part of our call volume. Our department operates as an Emergency Medical Response agency with a Basic Life Support upgrade. Each firefighter strives to better themselves to meet the needs no matter the call.
